A nickname is all it takes. No account, no download.
A look was picked for you. Tap to change — or later, it doesn't matter yet.
Phone rule: your own pick, prediction and submitted state. "Look up" cues when the stage matters. The phone host sees hosting controls, never anyone's answers.
Read the Room (connected) — canonical
Pick A/B + predict A wins / B wins / Tie, in private. Editable until the host reveals. Correct prediction +1. Pass = no point, excluded from the count. Minimum 4 valid votes or the round is cancelled, not invented.
Same Brain trigger
≥4 eligible players, every expected pick submitted, zero passes, zero away, all identical. Shows the exact denominator. No bonus points. A second unanimity soon after gets a badge, not the ceremony.
Dead Heat trigger
Completed vote, ≥4 valid votes, no missing choices, exact tie. Two equal panels, invite debate, no fake winner.
Identity
Guest: nickname + room-scoped seat id. Member: optional, offered after value (Save favorites / Host next). Paying host: owns the room entitlement. A guest never inherits the host's account.
Public vs private
Stage: names, joined/ready/submitted, question, revealed split, accuracy scores. Phone: own pick/prediction/state. Host phone: controls only — no answers.
Recovery
Refresh restores the same seat by id and any unrevealed answer. Away seats aren't votes. Host loss pauses; host return is default, migration is explicit. Old events after a round change are ignored.
Late join
Allowed while unlocked. Sits out the live round with no blank vote, joins at the next one. Duplicate names are refused at join with a suggestion.
Simulated here
Networking, QR, account sign-in, saving and sharing. "Simulate other phones" stands in for five real guests so the reveal can be reviewed.
